We recently released the story of Stefan11222's missing millions in crypto, a tale with no solid conclusion. Since then, Stefan Burakov has been actively posting to YouTube. He conducts hand analysis there and even posts entire sessions for his audience.

In his most recent video, Stefan plays a $10k tournament on GGPoker with "literally his last money." By the 50th minute, he had 25.4 BB, compared to his opponent's 13 BB stack. Things were looking good, and then, Stefan was dealt in the big blind.

"You already lost this battle. You already lost," said Stefan, before shoving over Santiago Plante's limp.

Unfortunately, it didn't get through. Santiago had more than enough to call with and showed . Stefan said, "Goodbye," wishfully foreshadowing a suckout, but it didn't come. The board ran out and Stefan went from a two-to-one favorite to the opposite.

A few hands later, Stefan picked up in the big blind and faced a shove from Santiago.

He winced, looking visibly unhappy, but called the shove. He was up against deuces, but the flop didn't help, nor did the on the turn.

Stefan let out a long and deep sigh. "God help me, please," he said as he peeled over the river card. It wasn't a or and Stefan finished the tournament in 67th place out of 128 entries.

The disappointment hangs heavily in the silence as Stefan closed the table down. He was composed but seemed a bit stunned by the result. For a minute, he puffed thoughtfully on a cigar, then spoke to his viewers.

Okay. I can't understand why God didn't let me win. What I did wrong? Why?

Okay guys. We're done. I lost. I lost this tournament. I played my best, truly my best. My opponent was weak, but the fortune was not on my side. Okay. I pretty sure my god didn't let me win just only because of one reason. He wants me to become even stronger, because this money would be too easy for my future.

Now, I'm completely broke. This $2,000, I have to give back to Avr0ra because it was a debt. Now we truly don't even have money for food but I don't give a f***, I know we're gonna win anyway. We're gonna win anyway, we're gonna crush the matrix.

I've never been so happy and strong as I am now. I love this life so much. I love all the experiences I have. All the experiences I had.

Now, I hope Limitless (Wiktor Malinowski) or Avr0ra will win. I hope these two guys will see each other in the final. They are truly, truly, truly good players. Excellent players, and amazing people.

Given that variance plays a huge role in tournaments, it would have been interesting to see the results of ten $1,000 MTTs rather than a single $10,000 GGPoker event. However, this will not be the end. Stefan has an active Telegram community and regularly posts on YouTube, so we'll see where he goes from here.

In some form, at some stakes, he will reemerge. After some revaluation, perhaps we'll see him at the highest stakes once again.
