2024 results: +$2,895,000
Posting my end-of-the-year results comes with a lot of eagerness and a little bit of anxiousness. This has been the most successful and, at the same time, balanced year that I’ve had in my life. In this post, I want to share with all of you how this was possible, who helped me along the way, and what my goals are for the next year.
This year was a combination of three key factors contributing to a big year in poker:
1. Running well
2. Working with the right people
3. Having/finding the right action.
Running hot in the right spots is the most important aspect of having a successful poker year, especially at the highest stakes, where volume is less of a factor. As shown in the graphs, I not only ran very well when it came to hitting hands, but whenever the money went in, I received, on average, quite a bit more than I was supposed to win.
Poker is a game of information: have more of it than your opponent, and you will win in the long run. Instead of relying on the structure that was in place before my hiatus, I was forced to switch to a system of hiring people to sharpen my skills in designated areas as freelancers. These are the people that I want to thank for this year:
– Eric
– Leszek
– Gareth James
@gazelligpoker
– Benjamin Rolle
@bencb789
As I step into 2025, my focus will shift away from the results and toward embracing the process itself. In poker, setting monetary goals often proves to be counterproductive, so this year, I’ll pursue only what brings me joy, growth, or ideally, both. By prioritizing the journey over the outcome, I hope to continue evolving both as a player and as a person.
To everyone who supported me throughout the year – my friends, my family, my viewers, and my coaches – thank you. Your encouragement kept me motivated and grounded. Happy new year everyone!
– Crazy results, congratulations!! What kind of help did the freelancers provide you? - JNandez admired in the comments.
– Running sims, presentations, looking into my database and double checking deep runs in tournaments.
– Which site was the most winnings coming from? GG or Coin?
– Won the most on CoinPoker.
– Wow couldn’t believe you can make millions in a year playing online.
– Doesn't happen often at all, my best year by quite a wide margin.
The legendary Paisting summed it up in his equally legendary theme on 2+2:

– 2024 YEAR IN NUMBERS
The year has come to an end and it's time to reveal the losses of the year. Cash games remained my primary format last year as well. I barely felt like playing tournaments. Spending hours grinding only to bust just before the money because some whale sucks out just doesn't motivate me.
In cash games I ended up 22 buy ins below EV. That's an absolutely insane figure especially considering I was playing against the worst opponents the internet has to offer. The biggest battle of the year was against the rigged rng. Add to this a large number of lost coin flips and absolutely sick hands where the outcome always favored the whale and you can see the result in the graph.
Of course there were some bright spots like the first profitable month in my history. That happened because in that particular month there were only a few suckouts and my strong hands held up more often. The fact that other months were a nothing but suckouts and favoritism toward bad players clearly shows the nature of these games.
One of the highlights of the year was also my battle with Eastyy. Well known personality from streams and YouTube who was doing his $1,000 challenge in nl10 games and I participated in many of his sessions. Everything culminated toward the end of the challenge, and Eastyy and his audience were convinced the challenge would be decided against me. However I played exceptionally well against him and he ended up making some really poor calls against me. Overall these were fun encounters and even positively impacted the number of followers for this topic. I couldn't be happier that this topic has become one of the most popular of all time on this legendary poker site.
Cash -$8099.93 (22 buy ins below ev)
Tournaments -$319.90
Total -$8419.83
Ed. – Paisting has slightly exaggerated his importance in this Eastyy challenge. Nick Astwood won $1,000 on nl10 in 260,000 hands, which took him 486 hours. He paid $2,300 in rake during the marathon.
In the final video, Eastyy emphasized that he did not receive a single cent of rakeback, otherwise he would have finished the marathon much earlier.
Paisting —The goal for this year is to achieve more profitable months. Maybe I add little bit more tournaments also to playing calendar but main format is still cash games.
“Yes...bring the Red Line on! I bet it is f***ing superb horizontal!” – one reader pleaded with Paisting.
– This is what total punishment looks like, – Paisting responded to the critics. – Whale bet small and I bet big. They are also folding to river bluffs absurd high amount on 888, never seen anything like that on any other site. Bet bet shove and call call shove are massive hammers against those whales on river. But works only on 888.
– Do you really not get that your red line looks like that simply because you never fold? Look at your ev and profit lines and see how much money your strategies have made you. You've lost 239/240 months in the past 20 years and think that one month where you didn't go straight down the whole time means you were doing everything right all along? Am I understanding that correctly?
– Do you really get what is total exploit and running over or are just like these nl2 2 weeks challenge and never again heard guys "I need to learn gto"?
If whale is folding 9 times of 10 to river shove after I call call shove or bet bet shove do you think he is gto or exploitable? Now think if the same whales are betting 25% on massive draw heavy board is it good play or is it just burning money?
They don't play gto they are just larping something they really don't understand. If they are playing gto that need to call those rivers like hell. And when they are not they won't bet AA on T92 suited board 25%. It's just logical thinking and basic Theory Of Poker by Skalansky. My all red line is coming from these spots. They bet small and I bet big. The only way they beat me is to suck out. If they are not that are broke in 15 minutes.
