Summer is often considered a slow season in poker and it isn't hard to see why. With good weather, players want to think less about online games and more about rest, travel, and socializing. And so, poker room marketers save their promotion budgets for the autumn blues and winter holidays.

But for our players, good promotions can be found at any time of the year! In July, exclusive monthly rake races will be held in two poker rooms at once: CoinPoker and TON Poker, with a total of $8,000 up for grabs. Participation is open only to accounts registered via GipsyTeam links, so the competition for prizes will be noticeably lower than in regular room promotions.

TON Poker

The first race started on July 8th in our youngest partner room, TON Poker.

The conditions are simple: every dollar of rake will bring one point and the top 10 will receive prizes. The winner will become $600 richer and take a huge chunk of the total $2,000 rake race.

Three main reasons why you should pay attention to TON Poker:

  • Quick start. The client is built into Telegram, you don't need to install third-party software or register a separate account – just a number in Telegram. No verification.
  • Good lineups. The opponents at the tables are reminiscent of the early days of mobile apps – due to the ease of installation, there are many weak amateurs.
  • Convenient deposits and cashouts. Crypto is here at TON Poker and a dozen and a half currencies are supported. Cashouts are only in the form of USDT (TRC20).

There are also some downsides, for example, the room is only of interest to cash players. Also, there is no loyalty program yet (but active players can count on 30% rakeback from GipsyTeam) and there are questions about the security service (there were complaints about teamplay and bots on the forum). However, the developers are aware of the problems and even promise to involve TylerRM's students to identify the scammers.

GipsyTeam spoke with TylerRM and other regular online players about bots – how to spot them, how reporting works, and if you can beat them or not.

Coin Poker

Another cryptocurrency room with USDT play has changed owners this year and has become more open, especially for beginners. A bonus on the first deposit up to $2,000 offers a powerful 50% additional rakeback, which, combined with regular leaderboards and bonuses, turns the usual relationship between the room and the players upside down. Here, it is not you who pays the commission, but the room pays you extra! The traffic in the room is still inferior to competitors, but up to NL100, the fight at the tables goes on around the clock, and at the peak, it is NL500/PL500.

On July 15th, we will launch a race exclusively for GipsyTeam players. The total prize pool will be $6,000, there is no division into limits and varieties: you can grind micro-limits of Hold'em or catch your luck at expensive Omaha tables.
