WPT Global has announced a leaderboard that tracks player performance in 2024 online tournaments and other affiliated series. The total prize fund for the promotion will be $250,000.

All WPT online festivals count, as well as regular Sunday Slam, Grand Slam, and Mini Slam tournaments.

Prizes at the end of the year are given to the top 100 players. The winner is given 4 WPT Passport packages of $12,400 each, $25,000 tournament dollars to play on WPT Global, and $25,400 in cash ($100,000 total value).

The awards will be presented on November 24th.

Get tickets to the main Irish Open tournament in satellites.

From January 8th to March 10th, RedStar Poker hosts online qualification for participation in the regular Irish Open Festival (Dublin, Ireland), which will take place from March 28th to April 1st.

Several types of satellites are planned.

For a ticket to the main tournament ($1,150), the buy-in ranges from freebuy to $100.

There are direct satellites for $50 and $100 with a drawing of one ticket, which go almost every day at 20:30 GMT.

There are 30 packages for $2,250 each. The packages include $1,150 in buy-in and $1,100 in expenses.

From two to six packages are up for grabs in two-day satellites for $150: you can join the game every day, and the second days take place on Sundays at 20:15 GMT.

You can qualify for Day 1 through step satellites for $20.

PokerKing

The Venom PKO tournament with a guarantee of 5,000,000

From January 18th to February 1st, PokerKing will host The Venom PKO, its flagship multi-day tournament with a prize pool of $5,000,000.

There will be four entry days, each with 28 levels (11 hours). The second day will last the same amount of time, the third will take place until the final table participants are determined (times are EST):

• Day 1A: January 18, 13:05
• Day 1B: January 21, 13:05
• Day 1C: January 25, 13:05
• Day 1D: January 28, 13:05
• Day 2 (Main Event in the lobby): January 29, 13:05
• Day 3: January 30, 13:05
• Final table: January 31st, 16:05

Satellites

A ticket to the tournament traditionally costs $2,650, but there are many ways to save:

• Venom Fever Mega Satellites: Massive tournaments with buy-ins from $32 to $215 and tickets to The Venom as prizes.
• Cyclone Blitz Steps: multi-stage satellites from $0.11 in a fast poker format: the blinds do not increase, and the table changes when cards are folded. A ticket to the next stage (there are 9 in total) is issued for a stack of 5,000 chips (from the start they give 1,112 – 1,719, which is about 15BB).
• Venom Steps: classic satellites, where winning one tournament gives you a ticket to a more expensive one. Available in Sit&Go and MTT formats, buy-ins from $0.11 to $880. There are only 9 steps, and you can start with any of them.
• Skips: Satellites similar to Steps, but with 5 steps. Entry will cost from $0.25 to $880.

Winners of the regular rake races The Beast and Sit&Crush receive tickets to the $95 Beast & SnC MEGA satellites, in which 20 tickets to The Venom are raffled off.

Championship Online Poker Series with over 3,000,000 guaranteed

From January 21st to February 4th, TigerGaming will host a new stage of the Championship Online Poker Series (COPS). This time, the total prize pool will exceed $3,000,000.

The Winter Classic series in Montreal

From January 24th to February 4th, the Playground Poker Club (Montreal, Canada) will host the WPT Global Winter Classic tournament festival with a prize pool of more than $1,000,000.

18 tournaments have been announced, with buy-ins starting from $550, and the first two will be played online at WPT Global:

• #1 for $22 – Monday January 23rd at 19:00 EST.
• #2 for $44 – Tuesday January 24th at 19:00 EST.

The tournaments are Holdem with re-entry and the winners receive championship rings.
