The PokerGO Tour Pot-Limit Omaha Series II brought two of poker’s biggest stars back into the spotlight. Isaac Haxton and Daniel Negreanu added two more titles to their resumes, proving once again that they are among the best high-stakes players in the world.
Isaac Haxton Wins the Progressive Bounty Title
Isaac Haxton, one of the most respected grinders on the circuit, won the $15,100 Progressive Bounty event , besting a field of 82 players. He took home $383,740, with $169,740 in the top prize and $214,000 in bounties. With this, Haxton now has over $49.8 million in live tournament earnings, ninth on the all-time list.
The tournament featured big names in poker, such as Ben Lamb and Alex Foxen, who both made it to 3-hande. In the heads-up, Haxton faced Ben Lamb, starting with a significant advantage, 8,615,000 chips to Lamb's 1,640,000.
On the deciding hand, Haxton raised from the button with , and Lamb defended his big blind with .
The flop came , and both players chose to check. When the appeared on the turn, Lamb bet the pot (420,000). Haxton responded by rebetting the pot, and Lamb called with his last 225,000 chips.
Haxton with two pair of queens and twos was ahead, while Lamb had a flush draw and a straight draw, plus a pair of tens. On the river, a gave Haxton a three-of-a-kind and the tournament win.

Daniel Negreanu Shines in Another PLO High Roller
Daniel Negreanu, another poker legend, also shone in the series by winning the $10,100 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller event, besting a field of 104 players to take home $265,200. This was his fourth win of the year and the 47th of his career, bringing his total career earnings to an impressive $54.2 million (seventh-largest winner in history).
In a final table that featured stars of the calibre of Nacho Barbero, Jeremy Ausmus and Jared Bleznick, it was Alex Foxen who made it to the heads-up against the Canadian.

Negreanu started with a nearly 3:1 chip advantage, with 9,700,000 to Foxen's 3,300,000, and he quickly managed to turn that early advantage into a victory.
In the deciding hand, Foxen raised to 450,000 from the button with , and Negreanu paid with . The flop came , giving Negreanu trip queens and pocket tens for Foxen. "Dnegs" checked, and Foxen bet 300,000. Negreanu called. The turn, a , gave Negreanu a full house, and he chose to check again. Foxen, with two pair, also checked.
The river brought a , improving Foxen's hand to a full house. Negreanu bet 1,000,000, and Foxen raised to 3,200,000, leaving just two big blinds behind. Negreanu moved all in, and Foxen called, only to see his full house thrashed. Foxen took home $171,600 for second place. This was Foxen's 16th final table of 2024.
