Fifteen years ago, auxiliary software was a novelty for many poker players: regulars were just getting used to trackers, and Holdem Manager and PokerTracker had not yet acquired familiar numbers in their names. Online poker has changed beyond recognition since then, and so have the programs: solvers, auto-seating scripts, sets of statistics and pop-ups, trainers, range constructors – this is far from a complete modern list of tools for maximizing EV.
We asked developers of well-known auxiliary programs to tell us about what’s new in software in 2024 and what to expect in 2025.
Hand2Note
We launched Hand2Note 4, which revolutionized the world of online poker. Two key innovations: fast optimized reports (millions of hands processed in seconds) with smart filters, and an updated statistics tab that works 10 times faster than the similar tab in H2N3.
The plan for 2025 is to make it so that within a year no one uses anything but Hand2Note.
HoldemResources Calculator
The most notable event was the release of the fourth version, v4. HRC now supports a full range of scenarios – from preflop to complex postflop situations in multi-way pots, and is ideal for both cash and tournaments.
Updated features include the ability to lock frequencies and deviate from equilibrium strategies, and a new sampling algorithm that significantly increases the speed of calculations. In addition, v4 offers dynamic editing (changes can be made after the hand is created) and a redesigned postflop configuration tab with more flexible betting settings.
In 2025, we plan to expand the functionality to model field tendencies (deviations such as too aggressive or too passive postflop). Our goal is to make these settings easy to use and configure, so that players can effectively adapt their strategy against different types of opponents.

I spoke in some detail about my plans and achievements in the interview:
What's new this year is the appearance of WinamaxCaption. For other programs, it's mostly ongoing work to support the work, plus the introduction of new functions at the usual pace (related to updates of poker clients, user requests, and our own ideas).
Next year I plan to continue supporting and developing programs, and in my free time from the first two tasks, I will study the architecture of other poker clients – perhaps over time this will lead to the emergence of another program, as happened with the Winamax client this year.
I want to wish myself and the users of my software the same as a year ago: the end of [*****], the return of Stars to Russia and their receipt of the status of top-1 room.

Over the past year we have:

Hello everyone! In 2024, over 15,000 new users created accounts at Freebetrange. We have received a lot of positive feedback and support from the community, which we really appreciate. The main updates this year were improvements to the simulator and a new personal account for schools to track the progress of students. We also made many smaller updates and optimizations that may not be visible to the average user, but thanks to them our software remains fast, convenient and stable.
Next year we plan to continue improving the service in all directions. There will be more updates to the simulator, design and performance improvements. We also plan to increase the number of ranges stored in one account and significantly expand the library of ready-made strategies. ICMIZER 3 and Postflopizer
2024 has been a very eventful year for events and releases. At ICMIZER, we have been focusing on major improvements to our postflop GTO solver Postflopizer, launched in late 2023. First of all, in the spring, we integrated ICM models from ICMIZER and added tournament postflop calculations with ICM, PKO, and MTT, which allowed us to make a breakthrough in analyzing tournament game situations.
In the second half of the year, we created a new unique function for automatic search of optimal bet sizes on the flop. And in the fall, we launched a convenient postflop GTO trainer. In addition to adding new functions, we significantly increased the speed of calculations.
We have even bigger changes and announcements planned for 2025 that we can't talk about yet. More details will be revealed early in the year, and I'm really looking forward to that moment to finally show off what we've been working on and what we have in store for the poker community.
GTO Wizard
2024 has been an incredible year for GTO Wizard. We are proud of how we are changing the way players improve at poker. GTO Wizard AI continues to set the standard for the most advanced solver in the world. This year, we made it even more powerful, increasing its accuracy and speed. It now also solves hands with rake and handles complex postflop ICM/PKO situations in seconds.
Another important event was the launch of Analyzer 2.0 and the upgrade of our infrastructure, making hand analysis faster and more convenient than ever.
