After a long break, BERRI SWEET returned to the tables. The last time he played was back in the spring against AmSoGood in PLO $50/$100. The exact reasons for the long absence of one of the strongest high rollers are unknown. Most likely, no one wants to play with him.
One of the best HU PLO regs, Sanita55, agreed to give him some action. They have crossed paths at cheaper tables in the past, and now they are playing $200/$400. The first part of the distance was clearly dominated by Berri.

WPT Global gave another news item by signing famous hockey player Phil Kessel. He became a colleague of Phil Ivey and joined the team of ambassadors of the room.
Kessel has won three Stanley Cups in his career but has been without a team for the last two years. He holds one of the all-time NHL records – 1,064 consecutive games.

In the $3,000 Mystery Bounty tournament at EPT Cyprus, Matthias Lipp won two of the top $75,000 bounties in a row (there were three in total). There were about 60 players left in the tournament at the time.
Lipp ended up finishing third and earning $279,810, more than champion Guo Liang Wei ($275,972).
It turned out that Matthias was taught heuristic techniques by Fedor Holz himself.

At one of the tournaments in Cyprus, Patrick Leonard faced an unusual decision from the managers:
