Pokerdom turns 8: rake races, freerolls and cash drops

Pokerdom is celebrating its eighth birthday with style: until September 18, large-scale promotions with a total guarantee of 15,000,000 rubles will be running.

Tournament leaderboard

From July 25 to September 18, one point is awarded for each knockout in tournaments with a buy in of at least 250 rubles. The top 15 will receive prizes, and the winner will get 25,000 rubles.

Freerolls every hour

From August 1 until the end of the promotion, free tournaments will run every hour! The guarantee depends on the time and date of the tournament, but in total they guarantee 800,000 rubles.

Freeroll for 1,000,000 rubles

Another free tournament will be held on July 31 at 20:00 Moscow time: 1,000,000 rubles will be paid out! Tickets for the freeroll are awarded to those who play 188 raked hands at any Hold'em cash tables. The scoring period starts at midnight on July 22.

Sunday tournaments with guarantees

Every Sunday at 19:00 Moscow time there will be a tournament with a giant prize pool: The total guarantee will be 6,500,000 rubles.

Rake racing

The leaderboard in each discipline is divided into 4 leagues by buy-ins:

League A: 50/100 rubles and up

League B: 15/30-25/50 rubles

League C: 5/10-10/20 rubles

League D: 1/2-2.5/5 rubles

For each ruble of paid rake, 1 point is added to the corresponding league table.

Omaha + Five Card Omaha – 500,000 ₽ (August 5-14)

Hold'em – 1,000,000 ₽ (August 12 – 21)

Six-card and Seven-card Omaha – 500,000 ₽ (August 19 – 28)

Fast poker – 1,000,000 ₽ (August 26 – September 4)

Cash Drops

During the rake race at the tables of Hold'em (including fast poker) and Omaha, random prizes will drop out, which depend on the limit played

The prize pool of each league will be drawn in parts at a random time: all active players at the tables will receive the money.

GG Poker

New client features

The update of the GG Poker client at the end of July added several new features. Let's talk about what has changed:

Daily leaderboard prizes in spins reduced to $15,000

August leaderboards for all varieties of poker have been published. This month the total prize pool will be $10,000,000. There is only one change: $15,000 is up for grabs in Spin&Gold instead of $20,000 in July.

There is only one leaderboard for regular and 6-max spins. For your finishing place on the relevant buy in leaderboard, a special currency is earned – gold. Points earned from 11 am to 11 am the next day in Moscow are taken into account.

Until August 29, the OSS Cub3D series returns to WPN network rooms. As is tradition, the festival will be held in three buy-in categories: MOSS for micro-stakes players, OSS for mid-stakes players, and BOSS for high rollers.

TigerGaming will host several rake races in August for players of all popular poker formats.

Hold'em and Omaha

In total, $10,000 and $5,000 will be paid respectively. Points are awarded for paid rake, the prize pool for hold'em will be divided among the top 100 on the leaderboard, in Omaha – top 75.

Every day, the top 5 players will split $300, the scoring period is from 7:00 to 6:59 Moscow time. One point is awarded per $1 rake paid in Windfall, all buy-ins are included.

Satellites to the partypoker Championship Czech Main Event

The partypoker Championship festival has a new stop: the new stage of the series will take place from August 8 to 15 at King's Resort Rozvadov Casino (Czech Republic).

$25,000 and $50,000 freerolls after Formula 1 races

From July 25 to November 21, PokerStars is hosting freerolls to coincide with the 2022 Formula 1 Grand Prix.

The $25,000 Guaranteed Chequered Flag Freeroll will start the day after the end of the race weekend, on Mondays at 21:00 Moscow time.
