As a child, Rob Yong, of course, could not have imagined that he would become a famous functionary in the world of poker. The start of his biography begins quite normally, though Rob dreamed of becoming a marine biologist. But he did not receive a higher education, although he entered the university – Rob dropped out of school after only a week. Afterward, he went to work for Northern Foods, then the film industry. But eventually, Rob started his own recruitment agency. Already at 18, he became acquainted with the world of gambling: for his birthday, his father took Rob Yong to a bookmaker as a gift – and thus opened the way to the world of big bets and winnings. Casinos and poker appeared in the life of the young man a little later.
In 2007, Yong founded the Dusk Til Dawn poker room and casino in the UK. Based in Nottingham, it is a premium location that caters to recreational players, but also hosts major live tournament series like the WPT. Supposedly, one of the main reasons for opening the poker room was that Rob had been turned away from a tournament after being a minute late.
Today, Rob Yong is not only a high-stakes player (mostly cash) but also one of the top managers of the largest poker room partypoker (joined in 2014). Thanks in part to him, the poker room and its live series are among the most successful in the world. Rob also plays on partypoker under the nickname “Rob_Yong_”. There, he sometimes plays high-stakes cash game sessions, even up to $100/$200.
Rob Yong’s net worth is not known, but it is probably significant. Based on his involvement with a profitable casino, partypoker sponsorships, and other businesses, Rob Yong’s net worth likely makes him a multi-millionaire.

If you look at Rob's official tournament poker winnings at the end of 2022, they are quite modest by his standards – just over $845,000. But he plays mostly cash games and doesn't travel to tournament series very often, so it all makes sense.

- $135,160 – Fourth place in the World Series of Poker Europe €25,500 High Roller event.
- $112,275 – Sixth place in the 8-Max Hold'em event at the 2022 Triton Poker Series in Madrid.
Surprisingly, Rob Yong has only made a profit from one WSOP event, the one in Rozvadov.
