There are so many unions and clubs on PokerBros to choose from that most players just join the biggest or oldest – but that’s not always where the softest games are.

PokerBros The Rec Room is a room giving soft action at their No-Limit Holdem cash game tables. The players are mostly from America, so the peak times are in US evenings.

The Rec Room PokerBros union

There are some interesting differences in The Rec Room, such as heads-up games and call-time requirements, which prevent players from coming to the table and leaving right after a big score.

Unions like The Rec Room are made up of clubs. Instead of joining the union directly, players must apply to the affiliated clubs under its banner. We will tell you more about The Rec Room and then show you how to join one of the clubs in it.

The Rec Room has apparently been living up to its name; a room full of recreational players who aren’t fussy about hand selection or strength. You’ll have to test that for yourself, but there is one thing to be aware of.

The Rec Room may be soft, but it’s not as large as other unions. This means traffic is great in some formats, like No-Limit Holdem, but lacking a little in the Omaha department. According to our traffic measurements, there are a few PLO5 games, but almost no PLO4 and PLO6.

Another advantage here is the rakeback; The Rec Room will give players 45%.

Alas, there are no MTTs on The Rec Room union, so tournament lovers will have to try other unions, like Diamond or Paradise.

If you want to get into The Rec Room, it’s best to live in the US. If you don’t, you might have to jump through some hoops to become a member, as the union prefers American players only.

PokerBros is a mobile poker application for playing poker via clubs and unions. Unlike regular rooms, where all users play with each other on the same site, PokerBros is more like a live game — there a variety of private clubs in which players participate by invitation from the club and it's organisers.

As we mentioned, No-Limit Holdem is king in The Rec Room, with tables running around the clock. Peak times are generally in the American evenings since most of the player base is in the US.

No Limit Holdem is not the only game available, though it does have most of the action.

There are some PLO5 and heads-up (HU) cash game tables, but other games are almost non-existent. Unfortunately, the traffic here is a little low at times.

Cash game stakes are between NL10 to NL200.

Let’s say NLH is your game, but there are not enough tables at The Rec Room. No problem. Pacifica, PanAmericana, or Run Good Streets (RGS) will be able to solve that problem. We’d also recommend the Diamond Union, but the games have a reputation for being slightly less fishy than the ones in other unions.

You want to get an updated Club ID and Referral ID, since this information can change. Sometimes clubs and agents offer different things, so you don’t want to join the wrong one.

Rakeback and other promotions are always changing. We’d like to get you current IDs, for better rakeback and membership conditions.

If other club apps have better promotions, you’ll hear about that too.

There Are Lots of Other Unions Out There

The Rec Room might work well for you, but there are plenty of other options.

While the rakeback and softness are big plusses for The Rec Room, some other unions have more poker formats and more players at the tables.

This isn’t a union for Omaha players, or at least, not one with a lot of action. If PLO4, PLO5, or PLO6 is your game, you’d be better served at a different union or on major poker sites with higher traffic.

The Diamond Union is one of the largest unions on the PokerBros app, with large MTTs and plenty of Omaha action across different stakes. You’ll probably feel stronger competition in the Diamond Union, but you’ll find round-the-clock games.

You can easily see which poker unions or major rooms are busy with our traffic tracker.
