I really enjoyed playing at this room until March. I wondered why I hadn’t left PS sooner. The rake and rakeback seemed to be set by someone who wasn’t greedy and actually loved poker. The HUD worked, there were no freezes, and it had one of the best and most transparent rake structures for regular poker players. But then things changed... : 1)They removed HUD support (they made it built-in, which I find lacking). 2) I don’t know about others, but the new client eats up a lot of PC resources. 3) Most importantly—at limits above NL50, they didn’t raise the rake by 20% or 30%... but by a whopping 100%!!! So, if you’re a slightly profitable reg, bankruptcy and a ticket to the factory await you here. Conclusion: Even though I love playing with HOD, I might stick around until the end of March since the rakeback is 100% (the bait to keep regs from running away worked). After March, I’ll definitely be switching rooms. It’s a shame that they turned a room with user-friendly software and low rake into yet another greedy Asian operation (I think you get the reference).
