In October 2022, GGPoker introduced the Bounty Jackpot in its tournaments: in addition to regular knockouts, players had a chance to hit a jackpot of up to $1,000,000, funded by an additional fee. The feature was not popular and will be removed from the client in the upcoming update.
Starting July 1, the Bounty Jackpot will no longer be available in knockout tournaments, and players' contributions will be discontinued.
Funds from the Bounty Jackpot will be redirected to series and bonus payouts. Specifically, $1,000,000 will be added to the promotions for the next Bounty Hunter Series (dates to be announced).
The change does not affect Mystery Bounty tournaments: they will continue in their usual format.
