PokerKing announced The Venom yet again, but this time, it’s the largest prize pool in the history of the poker room. it will take place from April 14th to May 1st, and the prize pool will be $12,500,000.
There will be five entry days. The remaining players will move on to the second day and will last about 11 hours.
The third will take place before the final table participants are determined (GMT times shown):
- Day 1A: April 14, 18:05
- Day 1B: April 18, 18:05
- Day 1C: April 21, 18:05
- Day 1D: April 25, 18:05
- Day 1E: April 28, 18:05
- Day 2: April 29, 18:05
- Day 3: April 30, 18:05
- Final table: May 1, 21:05
Satellites
You can qualify for the tournament through several types of satellites:
- Venom Fever Mega Satellites: Tournaments with buy-ins ranging from 32 to 215 and lots of tickets to The Venom.
- Venom Blitz Steps: an unusual format of multi-stage satellites that are played in a fast poker format: without increasing blinds, but with tournament chips and table changes when folding cards. A ticket to the next level is issued upon reaching a stack of 5,000 chips. There are 9 stages in total, the most affordable one costs 0.11 (a ticket can be won in 24-hour freerolls).
- On Demand Steps: Classic qualifiers where winning one satellite earns you a ticket to a more expensive satellite. Available in Sit&Go and MTT formats, buy-ins from 0.11 to 880. There are only 9 levels, you can start with any of them (a ticket to the first for 0.11 can be won in a freeroll).
- On Demand Skips: Satellites similar to Steps, but with 4 steps. Participation will cost from 0.25 to 95.
Cash players who win a prize place in The Beast (a weely rake race) can receive tickets to The Beast & SnC satellites – VENOM Fever MEGA (20 tickets to The Venom are awarded in each).
