PokerStars announced a new reward system that started working on January 22nd. We talk about changes and nuances of the rules.
The Previous PokerStars Loyalty Program
Players could receive up to 25% rakeback from rewards in prize chests. Another up to 40% of rakeback came from Weekly Challenges, which gave a one-time bonus for reaching a certain amount of rake.
The New PokerStars Loyalty Program (Started Jan 22nd 2024)
If you wager less than $50,000 of rake per year: Chests will now return up to 40% rakeback, and the requirements for receiving them will increase. Challenges will be removed. Recipients of the two simplest types of chests, bronze and daily, will be given daily tickets to the Power Path satellite for 0.5 (previously this required wagering 3.33 rake).
If you wager more than 50,000 rake per year: A special PokerStars Select loyalty system will appear for regulars. It returns 50% of your rakeback in cash to your account – every day!
For wagering 100,000 rake per year: PokerStars will offer an advanced Select+ level for these players. This will return 50% of the commission in any game, but in spins and fast-fold poker (Zoom), the rate is 60%.
Select and Select+ members receive a personal manager and access to exclusive promotions in the future. Players who met the rake requirement for the previous year are automatically included in the new program.
