In celebration of the 18th anniversary of the weekly Sunday Million tournament on PokerStars, a series has been announced to take place from March 10th to April 21st.
Sunday Million Season 24 features 24 Hold'em tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $5.5 to $1,050, spanning three buy-in categories. The total prize pool for the series will exceed $19,000,000.
Key tournaments include:
- Sunday Million 18th Anniversary with a $8,000,000 guarantee: April 7th, 18:05 GMT.
- 13th Anniversary of Sunday Storm with the usual buy-in of $11 and a $500,000 guarantee: April 14th, 19:05 GMT.
- Sunday Million Season Finale with a $109 buy-in, scheduled for April 21st, 18:05 GMT, will distribute $1,500,000.
Tickets for the commemorative Sunday Million will be awarded to final table participants in each tournament until April 7th.
To participate in the Season Finale for free, tickets are given for knocking out PokerStars ambassadors in named tournaments:
- Episode #17: Ambassador Event – Fintan (PKO), Fintan Hand
- Episode #18: Ambassador Event – Spraggy (MB), Ben Spragg
- Episode #19: Ambassador Event – Parker (MB), Parker Talbot
- Episode #20: Ambassador Event – Rafa (PKO), Rafael Moraes
Leaderboards
Additionally, leaderboards will distribute 100,000 tickets for the upcoming SCOOP festival.
All tournaments are divided into three categories based on buy-in size:
- Low: Up to $21
- Medium: $22 – $109
- High: $110 or more
Points are awarded based on the finishing position in the prize zone, with double points in Episode #21: Sunday Million Season Finale.
