In October, PokerKing will host three versions of its flagship tournament, The Venom, with a total prize pool of $7,500,000.
Venom PKO & Venom PLO PKO
The main tournament will be held in PKO format, with a prize pool of at least $5,000,000. Another $1,500,000 will be awarded in Venom PLO PKO.
The tournaments will run simultaneously, and there will be five entry days:
- Day 1A: October 13
- Day 1B: October 17
- Day 1C: October 20
- Day 1D: October 24
- Day 1E: October 27
The flights start at 17:05 GMT.
The remaining players will move on to Day 2 (October 28, 17:05 GMT), and the final tables will be played the next day at the same time.
Satellites
You can qualify for the tournament through several types of satellites:
- Venom Fever Megasatellites: Tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $55 to $630, with 700 tickets available for both The Venom tournaments.
- Venom Blitz Steps: A unique multi-step satellite format played as fast-fold poker. There’s no blind increase, but there are tournament chips, and the table changes with each fold. A ticket to the next level is awarded once you reach a stack of 5,000 chips. There are 9 stages, with the lowest starting at $0.11 (tickets can be won in 24/7 freerolls).
- On Demand Steps: Classic qualifying tournaments where winning one satellite grants a ticket to the next more expensive satellite. Available in Sit&Go and MTT formats, with buy-ins from $0.11 to $880. There are 9 steps, and you can start from any of them (the first ticket for $0.11 can be won in freerolls).
- On Demand Skips: Satellites similar to Steps but with 4 steps. Entry costs range from $0.25 to $95.
Venom Warm-Up
Prepare for The Venom with a multi-day tournament offering a $1,000,000 guarantee.
The buy-in is $66, and you can join through regular flights starting from October 1. Satellites start with freerolls.
The tournament's Day 2 will take place on October 27 at 20:05 GMT.
